We have our brave young people fight our wars, setup schools and health care for other countries, but America gets second rate attention. We have a Democracy right? Let me share some thoughts with you. We have large states with a 30 million plus population. Each state has 2 senators. Some states have less than 600,000 people. The small states have an equal vote in the Senate to block legislation. No wonder we cannot come to a consensus in this country. What kind of democracy is run by a minority of the population? |
